Saying Aloha to All Year Round Healthy Summer Glow

I’m happy to announce that fall is officially here! While fall is a wonderful time of year, it also means that soon my summer tan will fade.

But that’s not necessarily the case. I don’t fake tan and I don’t plan on it, but there are other ways to get a great healthy looking glow.

I love a great tinted moisturizer and self-tanning lotion. For a great tinted moisturizer, I love to use Laura Mercier and Jergens self-tanning lotion. The tinted moisturizer may only last until you take it off until the end of the day, but the Jergens self tanning lotion will gradually give you a semi permanent summer glow over time. It’s natural, healthy, smells great, and leaves skin looking and feeling moisturized.

So maybe you’re not into using lotions everyday. I completely understand. There is a great way to look and even feel healthy and that’s my favorite thing: food.

A few years ago The Huffington Post released an article discussing some great and tasty foods loaded with carotene that helps create a darkened skin color. These foods include:

  • Carrots
  • Tomatoes
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Cantaloupe
  • Spinach
  • Kale

If you’re looking for some great, tasty, and easy recipes to help keep a nice healthy glow, check out these recipes, courtesy of Aloha (they also sell yummy protein bars, supplements, and lots of things with chocolateJ)

So there you have it. It’s simple and delicious to keeps you skin looking great throughout every season. Whether it’s using your favorite self tanner to eating healthy, there are so many options available!
